What is MCP?

MCP is an open standard. An AI agent uses it to work with other software. Vink has an MCP server. When you connect your agent to it, the agent works in your Vink, with your permissions.

Ask your agent things like this.

  • YouSend the invoice in this email to the Purchase invoices Form.
  • YouWhich submissions from today do I still need to check?
  • YouThe last delivery note says 12 boxes, not 21. Correct that.
  • YouDid yesterday's approved orders reach our system?

Connect in three steps.

    Add Vink to your agent

    In your agent, add a connector with this address: https://vink.page/mcp

  2. 2

    Log in and choose your Organisation

    Vink opens in your browser. You log in and choose which Organisation the agent works for.

  3. 3

    Give permission

    Done. The agent now works in Vink with your permissions.

What the agent may do.

  • The agent has the same permissions as you, in one Organisation.
  • Everything the agent changes is recorded in your name, marked via agent.
  • A person approves. An Admin can turn on Agent Approval per Form. Even then, the agent only approves when nothing needs review.
  • You revoke the connection under Settings → Agent Connections.
