Can software read handwritten forms?

How to digitise a paper form
In four steps, and the paper form stays as it is.

Make a Form in Vink
Copy the boxes of your paper form as fields, or let Vink propose them from one filled in copy.

Photograph or scan the form
Email the photo to the Form's email address. A scan as a PDF works just as well.

Check the handwriting
Vink shows what it read for each box. Unclear figures, such as hours or amounts, are flagged.

Send the data on
After approval the data goes to your planning, your invoicing or a sheet.
The form stays on paper. The data is digital straight away.

Where does the form's data go?
To the system you retype it into today, or to a sheet first.
Work orders often go to invoicing, inspection lists to a database and sign up forms to a planning. Vink sends them to a spreadsheet, your workflow tool or the webhook.
Questions about handwritten forms
Usually well, but not always. That is why every value gets a score. When it falls below your threshold, Vink flags the value and someone looks at it. Each value shows what Vink read.
No. Vink finds your fields on the page, even when you change the form later or someone writes outside the boxes.
Yes. A photo is read just like a scan. Make sure the whole form is in view and the photo isn't too dark.
Yes. A box becomes a yes or no field, or a choice from the options printed on the form.
Yes. They email the photo from their phone to the Form's email address, or upload it through the upload link. They don't need a Vink account for that.
A photo or a page costs 10 credits. A two page form therefore costs twice as much. You start with 200 free credits.
In the EU. After sending, Vink deletes them after 30 days by default. An Admin can make that shorter or longer, up to 365 days.
